This is an original poll axe head – I was commissioned to add an appropriately aged handle

• Small original poll axe head – added hickory handle that is hand shaped from round to octagonal
• Stained, oiled and aged the handle to match severe use with cuts, splits, etc. to match the head displaying heavy patina
