Bone Handled Athabascan Dagger
These knives were made for the Indian trade in the Plains, used on lances, knives, blades for clubs – all around great blade. They came in several different configurations, some notched, some plain, others hade medial ridges while others were just flat.
- Hand forged blade with a medial ridge
- Full tang construction
- Handes are bone made from a femur bone from a bison, handles are held to the blade with hand-hammered copper pins with brass washers
- Bone handles were aged to resemble the original
- This dagger knife balances very well and is very sharp
