- Hand forged head with a flared blade and a tapered spike
- Head also has a faceted spear point with a terminal ball; top spike screws into mid-section
- Finishing out the head is a tapered cone that holds the handle; handle is fixed to this cone by an iron rivet
- Directly below the transition of where the handle meets the head is an iron reinforcing band also riveted to the handle
- Ash handle transitions from a round to octagonal shape
- Finishing the end of the handle is a copper wire wrapped hand hold. Below the wire wrap is another iron reinforcing band also held to the handle with a rivet
- Handle is finished off with a square tapered ground spike
- This piece is heavily aged and replicates a late 17th early 18th century battle halberd possibly converted to a tomahawk by a Native
