- Hand forged head replicated from an original in the book, Indian Tomahawks & Frontiersmen Axes by Hartzler & Knowles
- The pipe head features a long candlestick styled bowl with a slight under-sweep to the blade
- Neck of the bowl features a stepped molding and ends with a round transition into the eye; blade has no molding like the original
- Hickory handle is hand drilled and shaped and is 20 3/4″ long
- Handle also has a drop or lanyard knob that holds a warrior’s drop
- The drop consists of a simulated bird of prey feather, a hand-rolled brass cone from a worn out kettle filled with 3 bands of silk ribbon (gold, light blue and red); drop also includes a brass cone filled with red-dyed deer hair, a small braided lock of hair possibly from a family member or favorite horse) and a sterling silver nose jewel or earring attached with white pound beads and three white hearts
- The tomahawk handle has been adorned with six sterling silver inletted bands that have been lapped and pinned; on the top of the handle is a sterling silver end-cap that has a bone clean-out plug; on the opposite end is another end-cap with a sterling tubed mouthpiece
- The pipe tomahawk is drilled and smokable
